Family Reunion

So Wednesdays DnD session went off extremely well. We laughed, the story plated out well. The crew is getting to know some of the hidden gems of the other players. There is still a feeling of Mistrust in the party, but that is to be expected also organic.

One of the great things that happened last night was that picture up top. During a combat encounter involving an enemy pirate ship, one of the players decided to draw. Asking what everyone's characters looked like and this is what she came up with.  Now I know normally in Encounters DM's are trying to push and speed things through. Something like this however. This is gold. If you were ever lucky enough to be a fly on the wall. This is how you may see the group, and it exhibits the playful nature I believe of that group.

While I will let you know the core details where the crew bartered to get Aine back safely from the clutches of a deceptive wannabe pirate, Miles found out some interesting details of his past. Orcenstein may have dropped hints he is more then just the brute he lets the party think he is. Sora showed she actually cares about races that aren't just Dragonborn. Skamos the tiefling is beginning to take his role of Captain quite seriously putting his crew where they'd be best, and relegated some duties to Marakai. The ship combat was awesome, but what made last night really good was something I couldn't ever write up. Everyone had a great time! It was fun. It was a lot of fun.  Good luck to Fridays, it's your move.

Alright Schmuckaboos I just wanted to throw this out to you guys, and take a peek.  Peace out.

Turning Over a New Leaf

             Good Morning Blogggers,

I am glad to be able to make your day. I posted some information on the Wednesday campaign
as promised. A little late but c'est la vie. I am here and happy and that is what matters right?  So it is early  Sunday for me and I am just enjoying some Kool aid, and getting .... oh right this isn't a diary...yet.

So last Sunday I started playing Animal Crossing for the 3ds.  I got to tell you I didn't know what to expect. It is my first ever adventure into one of these games it is pretty fun. For those of you who don't know the point of the game is to have an Extremely happy town, with plants, and trees, and other things. Opening into the game you are greeted by a small dog lady who is like. Oh hey your the Mayor right? What's the town called. Similar to Pokemon - heck even the New Leaf title should bring up a few lights. Regardless, the game is a fun nice way to relax when I need a break from my other hobby. Catching things like this:

Don't let his picture fool you. He is not nearly that cuddly  and when he nuzzles you. It hurts, and he is covered in mud which gets in your armor....and oh man.

Anyway back to Animal Crossing. It is a very nice way to relax and relieve stress. My town is called Redford and I drove an awful looking truck for my flag. I'm not going to lie it's bad. If I was 5 it probably would have made it to my parents fridge, and been lied to on what an artist I could be.  A new feature to Animal Crossing is also that you can wear clothes "meant" for the other gender. So I am wearing beautiful glasses, a dress and a cap with flowers in it.( Don't Judge me, I am just enjoying everything the game has to offer.)

I won't spoil too much of Animal Crossing: New Leaf for 3ds so if you are looking to pick it up you will be pleasantly surprised, and enjoy it as well.  So I will leave you now with a picture of my mayor.  Have a good day, and perhaps post what you are playing tell me something about it.

A little late but I promise you the Dice have dropped.

Sorry I was late guys. Real world got in the way. I know I got angry at it too. Not to mention since I'm not rolling in the bling or blong so job hunting as well. Maybe I should make a Kickstarter so I don't really have to work..... Anyway that's not why you are here is it? Sure you may have just clicked next blog and you found your way into the cesspool of filth, lust, and violence.  I really don't have much of that here, unless you count the stories I am about to tell you.

As I promised, the dice have dropped, countless times.(Alright I can count them but I don't really remember how many times! GEEZ WO/MAN stop pressuring me! )
You may recognize this. It has in one hand ruined lives, saved worlds, defeated dragons, and even caused the greatest of champions, slip on a banana peel and be torn to shreds by a horde of carnivorous squirrels. I did not only see it happen. I MADE it happen!!!!!  I have two campaigns going,  and I plan on actually posting up the party and a little about each of them should they allow it.  Also I promise that if I get at least 100 followers I will peer pressure my parties into allowing me to podcast those games and throw them up here. I'm not new to DMing actually I love it. So I can post up some tips I have learned and incorporated into my own style.  There is actually a great blog by Chris Perkins on the Dungeons and Dragons Website, that has  definitely helped me step up my game.(get it?)

So My Wednesday Group has taken to the high seas in the world known as Armenca, a large chain of islands in a world once shattered by a big event. Now A Tiefling, A Monkey Humanoid, A Dragonborn, A Half Orc, a Genasi, and a Gnome are on a quest for gold riches, and achieving personal goals and maybe putting an end to a great strife between two Great factions struggling for the Last free islands in the known world.

My Friday Group is running around the world of Dilrain is hunting a troublesome necromancer responsible for the spread of a dark flower called Deathblossoms, that give the living the flaws of the undead, until leading them to an eventual and gruesome death. What is he plotting? also will the heroes be able to save him.

These are the campaigns I'm working on. Tomorrow I will put more of the status of the campaigns and also throw up a few of the party members from each. You know permission and stuff.

Time for a Blog

So I am really new to this Blog idea thing, but I figure it is a great place to practice my writing.
I was thinking I should tell you about myself first, just to get that vain introduction out of the way. My name is Steve – Yeah just like the Minecraft guy, but a little cooler(only just). I like too many things to consider myself a Geek, anything ranging from Doctor Who, Pokemon, Star Wars, long walks on the beach, and just cuddling up to a ...erm....wrong site I guess.

It's fine. I am going to take some time to figure out what exactly to throw up here. To start you will pretty much get what is going on in the lives I lead. Like Minecraft, League of Legends, Dungeons and Dragons are just a few things I have on the go right now. Oh yea..and Real life if you are interested. I will show you what I find cool in my own mind, and will create trends without the need of twitter. At least for now. I mean I have one of those tweet things but I really use it. Possibly in the future if nessecary.

To Anyone reading the blog right now, I can see what you are thinking. Holy crap! There is nothing here. You're right. I am new to this but please feel free. If you want to make a banner or something and I like it. Sure I will throw it up, and make sure you get the credit you deserve. Also, I'm not above helping my friends. So I will be throwing a few links up here who could use the help of you readers as well. Even if you aren't interested you might know someone who is.

Obstacle Course of Death
As Promised  I will let you know on a few things going on at the moment.  I have been playing a lot of Minecraft lately. If you haven't had the pleasure of playing it I would definitely recommend it.  To be completely hones
t with you it is a game that for a long time I would play it for a week until it felt stale.  It really is the group of friends you play with that make it incredible.

To the left of me, is probably my favorite game my brother has added to the server so far.  I do not know who came up with it, but it is genius.  Just reach the bottom. Sounds easy right? Not so much apparently. Every fall hurts worse then a Stark dying in Game of Thrones.

It was hard enough at first, but once we beat it as is a normal thing for my family and friends, we need to make it harder. So the challenge became make it down the bottom while everyone else is trying to kill you.

This is the goal. I do not know if we will ever see it alive again. Here is hoping, but with bows, arrows, snowballs, and a crazy girlfriend with a Diamond Sword....it doesn't seem all to likely.

That is my post for today. Please comment. Tomorrow Night is Dungeons and Dragons Night I hope. Running a pretty sweet campaign. I'll post Saturday about Dungeons and Dragons. So come back.  I will work out a schedule for what I am posting when, or just go with the flow and talk about what I feel like. PEACE!
Here is a deal for you readers. Come back enough and I will podcast my DnD games for you. Probably with the permission of the other players.
